Paulie Pepuhz: The Past time producer

Paulie Pepuhz feels the odds of making it into the music industry are similar to those of winning the lottery. This mindset may explain why he doesn’t ever plan on becoming a producer turned rapper, even though his writing skill is where he gets the name “Pepuhz”. For the last two years, he has been taking producing on as a serious hobby. He’s always had the software but never put it into use until an artist named Jack Spa77ow found a beat he really liked.

Paulie Pepuhz future in music production looks promising. His tracks have already experienced several successes, one of which is getting his beats played on radio airways. He’s also already turned industry heads at Def Jam and even got a track played at the Labor Day Parade.

Paulie’s Pepuhz productions are mostly made for the streets. He’s known for his hardcore sound and bass loaded beats. The majority of them are missing melody and a variety of other instruments, but that’s what the artist who works with him love. Yet, recently he’s been hoping to move away from this and into a more creative radio worthy sound.

As far as competition, he feels it’s out there but he stays out of the race. He likes making beats but he doesn’t believe he can do consistently. “People make beats every day and end up 40 and broke” Paulie says, knowing that he’ll always have his genius computer skills to fall back on. He isn’t trying to experience this at all, that’s why he’s not pursuing music production as a career, only a past time.
